Midweek Randomness, take 29

Who in Phoenix is utterly and completely sick of summer? This girl. Especially after burning my legs on my leather car seats for the 2nd time this week when getting into the car. Yoooouch! The countdown is on for fall, winter, or whatever you call the amazing weather that graces the state of Arizona over half of the year. Complaining and bragging all at once :)

At the recommendation of a friend (thanks Shaun!!), today I am listening to First Aid Kit’s album The Lion’s Roar. And can I just say…WOW! Totally in love with this album already. The group is a sister duo from Sweden that have an…ummmm…alternative folk country sound? Hard to explain, but very unique, and very awesome.

Kind of looks like they are smoldering in Phoenix in the video, eh?

Yesterday I sat down and spent most of the day revamping my portrait packages. I created a pretty client packet (insert ooooooh’s!) and there will now be two options for all portrait sessions – a “Print Package” that includes the session and a print credit or a “Disc Package” that comes with the session and a disc of images. I have perfected lots of beautiful print products for my clients to now enjoy – prints, portrait albums, gallery canvas wraps, and press-print cards. Lots of goodness!

Some very exciting news…a new website is officially in the works! I am working with idieh design, who also designed my logo, to design and launch a new site by the end of the year. Crazy excited to get it rolling and see what the awesome Heidi comes up with!

A couple reminders from muah! 1) Be sure to enter Mimi’s Favorite Things for August – a super fab popcorn maker! Its easy beans to enter. 2) October Mini Sessions are filling up, I only have one spot remaining! Check out the details.
