Vintage Inspired Bridal Shoot | Wisconsin Wedding Photographer

For a while I’ve been wanting to put together a styled bridal shoot, buuuuuut I had to wait until I had some inspiration on what this shoot would be. As I stood with my sister (with her crazy curly awesome hair) it all came to me the moment she showed me her antique bridal gown she had found for her wedding. Curly crazy hair, beautiful antique gown, the green lush backdrop of Wisconsin…yes, this was exactly it!

I went on to share my idea with several local vendors, and to my delight they were on board to make it happen! I can’t thank them all enough for their time and offering up of their services and products for my idea!

River Haven Salon & Spa did the hair and make-up. They made her hair even more awesome (I hear there was some Beyonce inspiration) and made her glow!
Falls Florist & Greenhouse – put together the gorgeous bridal bouquet!
The Merchant General Store – provided all the gorgeous antiques and decor for the shoot (table, chair, table setting, and earrings)
Andrea’s Vintage Bridal – The shop where my sister found her beautiful vintage gown.

Lastly, thanks to my dad for letting us use his awesome VW bus and of course, my beautiful sister, for being my model and my inspiration for this whole thing :)

This was SOOOO much fun to plan and put together. I am beyond giddy to share this with you all! Soooo, enjoy!!

Kim Harvey - Your bridal shoot is absolutely beautiful!!!! Your sister makes a great model too. I loved all the greens and natural Color shots but I especially loved the black and white shot. It made it look “older”. I do wedding florals and wine glass charms and would love the opportunity to be a part of a bridal shoot. Please keep up the nice work and keep sharing with us… :)

Chelsea Fotballdrakt - An interesting discussion is worth comment. I believe that you ought to write
more on this subject matter, it might not be a taboo matter but usually folks don’t discuss such issues.

To the next! All the best!!
